what is Real Feel?

Every May when I was a kid, my mom piled our stuff into her massive car and drove us 13 hours to her parents’ house. If we were desperate to pull over for a pee along the way, we’d say we had “yellow eyeballs” — as in, we had to go so badly that we’d filled up from our toes and were about to overflow.

Real Feel is like having yellow eyeballs…emotionally. You can expect an issue when I feel overfull, when something has particularly moved me, when I think you might be moved by it, too. Sometimes I’ll include links to other pieces of writing that have made me feel something. Welcome to the emotional port-a-potty on the road trip of life.
